Bernetta R. Sowels, affectionately known as “Mrs. Bee,” is the founder and principal designer of The Beehive Design Studio LLC. With a background in interior design, event styling, and production design, she brings creativity and storytelling to both residential spaces and the entertainment industry. Bernetta has worked on independent films as a production designer, set designer, and wardrobe professional. Through her writing, she shares practical design inspiration, decorating tips, and behind-the-scenes insights from film and television production.

As a contributor, Mrs. Bee's focus will be helping readers create beautiful, functional spaces that reflect their personalities, lifestyles, and values. She will share practical interior design and decorating tips, event styling inspiration, home organization ideas, and budget-friendly ways to elevate everyday living. Drawing from her experience in both design and the film industry, she will also explore the art of visual storytelling and how thoughtful design influences emotions, experiences, and connections. Mrs. Bee's goal is to inspire creativity, build confidence, and enrich lives by showing readers how intentional design can transform not only their spaces, but also the way they live, gather, and celebrate.
